Election workers needed for January’s Presidential Primary Election

The City Clerk’s Office is seeking election workers in all six wards to help staff Dover’s polling places during the upcoming Presidential Primary Election on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024.

Election workers are paid positions, and the City Clerk’s office provides necessary training. The only requirements are that election workers must be at least 18 years old and a Dover resident. Election workers assist with various duties on election day, including aiding voters, maintaining order, opening and closing the polls, and processing the vote counts.
