Strafford Regional Planning Commission has begun the process to update the City of Dover’s Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. The first meeting with the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the McConnell Center in Room 305. At the first meeting, the Planning Committee will review the update process, discuss existing and past mitigation strategies, and evaluate past disasters and emergency declarations.

All residents, businesses, municipal officials, and interested parties from Dover and other neighboring communities are welcome to attend the meeting. If unable to attend, please forward any ideas or concerns to: Kyle Pimental, Principal Regional Planner, Strafford Regional Planning Commission at kpimental@strafford.org or to Dover Fire Chief Eric Hagman at e.hagman@dover.nh.gov.

This update of the 2013 Plan is funded by FEMA under contract to Strafford Regional Planning Commission and is a collaborative planning process with the City.
