How healthy is your soil? Learn about soil properties and how you can improve soil health for more productive gardens and crops on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m., during a Soil Health Program.

Learn what you can and cannot change about your soil, what soil health is, how you can assess your soil's health and fertility, and steps to improve and maintain healthy soils. You can bring your own soil test results and ask questions.

The program is free and open to the public. It is presented by the Strafford County Conservation District.

The Strafford County Conservation District provides services to residents of Strafford Country, many for free. Services include workshops such as this, Soil Potential Index calculations for tax assessments, farm equipment rentals, and technical assistance for conservation projects.
