Parking restrictions in place tonight for painting

Several streets will be posted for no overnight parking tonight, Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, to allow Community Services crews to paint parking spaces.

This work was originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 7, but was postponed due to the weather.

The following streets are affected:

Several streets will be posted for no overnight parking tonight, Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, to allow Community Services crews to paint parking spaces.

This work was originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 7, but was postponed due to the weather.

The following streets are affected:

  • Lincoln Street, both sides
  • Second Street, both sides
  • Main Street, by the Pickering House #42
  • Locust Street, Library entrance to Silver Street, westerly side
  • Portland Avene, from Main Street to Cocheco Street
  • Locust Street, in front of City Hall


Once painting work is complete, the parking spaces will be open again, no later than 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

All other parking areas will be available at this time.
