Community Services crews will shut off water on Locust Street, from Kirkland Street to Washington Street, on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017 beginning at 9 p.m. The shut-off is necessary while crews relocate a fire hydrant and deactivate an old fire line to City Hall. Water is expected to remain off until 5 a.m. on Thursday.

To accommodate the work, the northbound lane of Locust Street will be closed to traffic. While crews deactivate the old fire line, St. Thomas Street, between Central Avenue and Locust Street, will also be closed to traffic.
