During bridge reconstruction, through traffic on Whittier Street remains detoured to alternate routes and pedestrian access over the bridge will be discontinued. Access to Whittier Street from Washington Street will remain open to local traffic only up to Regent Drive. Access to Whittier Street from Sixth Street will remain open to local traffic only up to Whittier Falls Way while pedestrian access to the Dover Community Trail and Dover Cassily Community Garden will be available for the duration of construction.
