The City of Dover, NH will be holding a Public Auction of approximately 27 bicycles on Saturday, June 8th, 2024. The auction will start at 9:00 a.m. and will take place at the Dover Public Works Facility located at 271 Mast Road, Dover, NH. All items may be previewed after 8:30 a.m. the day of the auction. The auction will take place rain or shine. Cash or checks only.

Children (ages 18 and under) will be allowed to bid against other children (ages 18 and under) on a bike until all children (ages 18 and under) have won one bike for themselves (not another adult), then all other bikes are open to all other bidders of any age.

There are approximately 28+ bicycles that will be auctioned. This is a great opportunity to get a slightly used bicycle for your child or yourself at a great price.

To make the auction run more smoothly, we ask that you assist us with the following:

• Most bids start at $1.00. We do not bid any item under $1.00.
• All items are to be bid in dollar increments only. (no coin)
• Payment terms are cash or local check with proper identification. We do not accept credit cards. Small bills are appreciated.
• You must pay for and remove the item once you are confirmed as the successful bidder.
• Our bicycle auction is primarily geared towards children; therefore, the children will be allowed to bid on the bikes first. Then the children are finished bidding, the adults may bid on any remaining bikes.
• One bike per child.
• All items are sold "as is", without any warranty, express or implied. 
• All computers are sold without operating systems.

(Q22-027) Removal of USED Fill Dirt Located in Dover, NH

• Approximately 500 cubic yards of used fill dirt is available at no cost on an unreserved basis. There is no warranty either intended or implied.  All used fill dirt is being provided “as is”, “where is” and with all faults and defects therein.
•  The used fill dirt is located in Dover, NH and the exact location will be provided upon appointment scheduling.
• Appointments must be made for any on-site inspection and or pickup of the fill dirt. Please contact the City of Dover Community Services Department at 603-516-6450 during the hours of 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  Please do not go to the location without a scheduled appointment.  
• Each individual removing the used fill dirt, will be required to sign the “Receipt of Fill” form. The form must be completed and returned to the Dover Community Services Department prior to removal of the fill dirt.

Available information:

• The used fill dirt is from roadway and other previously developed urban sites. The fill dirt will not have any known contaminants but is not being specifically tested.
• The fill dirt has not been screened.
• No environmental site assessment has been done on the used fill dirt.
