If you need to speak to someone, call the National Passport Information Center (877-487-2778). They have been experiencing high call volumes so we strongly suggest going online to find the information you need.
Passport Renewal
If you are renewing an expired adult passport that was issued within the last 15 years, you will have to apply by mail. Renewal forms are available online through the State Department website and at the Dover Public Library.
Fees
Fees can be paid only by check, money order, or cashier’s check. There are two fees required for each passport: one to the U.S. Department of State and the second to the Dover Public Library. Dover Public Library collects a $35 Execution fee for each passport. See the Department of State website for current Department of State fees.
