Work on the Elm and Belknap Streets Neighborhood Reconstruction Project will resume later this month. Severino Trucking Co. will begin to mobilize and start construction at the end of this month and into April, continuing through the fall of 2020. This work is a continuation of the neighborhood reconstruction project that began on Belknap Street last fall. The remaining work includes the reconstruction of the water mains, drainage and streets and sidewalks on Summer Street, Hamilton Street and Elm Street.

To update residents and the community, the City of Dover and the project contractor will hold a neighborhood meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at Community Services, 271 Mast Road.

A description of the proposed improvements and the construction process will be provided during the meeting and time will be allotted for residents to ask questions of the contractor and city officials. Officials will also review the anticipated construction timeline and discuss temporary impacts.
