The 41st annual Apple Harvest Day festival takes over downtown Dover on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day-long family-friendly event features 300 different vendors, two different entertainment stages, children’s entertainment in Henry Law Park, two food courts, and much more.

The 41st annual Apple Harvest Day festival takes over downtown Dover on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day-long family-friendly event features 300 different vendors, two different entertainment stages, children’s entertainment in Henry Law Park, two food courts, and much more.

The Rotary Arts Pavilion will feature live performances at:

  • 9 a.m.: Dover High School Band
  • 9:30 a.m.: Seacoast Men of Harmony
  • 10 a.m.: McDonough-Grimes Irish Dance
  • 10:30 a.m.: Rochester Opera House
  • 11 a.m.: WOKQ
  • 12:15 p.m.: Sole City
  • 1 p.m.: Curtain Call
  • 1:45 p.m.: Garrison Players Youth Troupe
  • 2:30 p.m.: Belletete Ballet

In addition to these event favorites, the festival also offers the 17th Annual Apple Harvest Day 5k, underwritten by Portsmouth Regional Hospital. The race will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 8:30 a.m., beginning and ending on St. Thomas Street in front of the Dover District Courthouse. Participants may register on race day for $40 for adults 21 and over and $35 for runners under the age of 21.

This year, there will only be one location for remote parking at Apple Harvest Day at 100 Liberty Way off Sixth Street in Dover. The free shuttle will run all day long. Parking at the Liberty Mutual campus is free. Look for signage for parking and the shuttle stop.
