These are among many public hearings held across the state. The draft plan is available at https://www.dot.nh.gov/projects-plans-and-programs/ten-year-plan.

The hearings on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, include:

  • Durham: 10 a.m., Durham Town Hall, 8 Newmarket Road
  • Dover: 1 p.m., Dover City Hall, 288 Central Ave.
  • Rochester: 4 p.m., Rochester City Hall, 32 Wakefield St.
  • Farmington: 7:30 p.m., Farmington Town Hall, 356 Main St.

Find the schedule of GACIT hearings at https://www.dot.nh.gov/about-nh-dot/calendar.

The purpose of these hearings is to receive public comments/testimony on transportation projects and priorities included in the draft plan, as recommended by NHDOT to GACIT. Those not able to attend the meetings can submit written testimony within 10 days of the completion of the public hearings.

GACIT is comprised of the Executive Council and the NHDOT commissioner. The Ten Year Plan allows the state to participate in federally supported transportation improvement projects as well as to outline projects and programs funded with state transportation dollars, according to the NHDOT. State law requires the NHDOT to propose a plan every two years.
