Board Purpose

The Recreation Advisory Board shall perform the following functions:

• Study the general recreational development in the City of Dover and advise and recommend to the Community Services Director* as to such items which would result in a general improvement of the entire recreational system. 
• Study the entire general recreational programming of the City of Dover and recommend to the Community Services Director such additions or deletions that should result in an improved recreational program. 
• Aid and assist the Community Services Director* in the formulation of future plans and programs for the ultimate benefit of all users of 
• Study and recommend methods for financing proposed recreation developments.
