Welcome to the Dover Police Department’s Online Reporting System. This system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report at no cost. Please review the following information to determine if filing an online report is right for you:

  • This is not an emergency.
  • This incident occurred within the City of Dover, New Hampshire.
  • This did not occur on the Spaulding Turnpike. (The turnpike is State Police jurisdiction.)

If all of the above statements are true, then you are ready to file your report online. Please make sure to disable any pop-up blocking software before filing the report.

Upon completion of this reporting process, you will:

  • See the words: “Your online police report has been submitted” confirming that your police report is complete.
  • Be provided with a police report case number.
  • Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.

Please note:

  • All cases filed using the online reporting system will be reviewed.
  • Upon review, if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted.
  • Filing a false police report is a crime.

Using the online reporting system, you can report a variety of incidents such as:

  • Property damage
  • Lost property
  • Telephone harassment
  • Identity theft
  • Child custody complaints

You may also file a supplemental report for an already reported incident. Please be sure to review the entire list with definitions and examples on the following page.
