The “golden rule” is always in play at the TC, whether it is with your peers or a staff member…Treat others the way you would want to be treated, plain and simple.
It is a privilege to be at the TC, not a right. While here, all we ask is that you tell the truth no matter the situation.
Whether is the use of “slang”, profanity or other unnecessary/hurtful words, we ask that all participants think before they speak.
The TC is here for you, so be here for it. When you have garbage or recyclables…take care of it, as well as other messes that may not be your own. Together, we can keep the TC looking great!
Take pride in yourself and others around you. Be proud of the TC, and what it gives you.
There are days when we are very busy and you may have to wait for an activity to open-up. Remember always, the more you share, the more you lead the way for others to follow.
No one can read minds. So, if you want others to hear you clearly, take your time and let us all know what’s on your mind.
Be who you are comfortable being, yet don’t be afraid to let others see what it is inside you.
Use your brain power while you are at the TC…trust us, you will surprise yourself!
This is what it is all about at the Dover Teen Center. What good is hanging out together if you can’t have a little fun and a lot of laughs?
