The City of Dover's Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for fiscal years 2021 through 2026 will be presented to the City Council and Planning Board at a joint workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019. The workshop will be held in the Second Floor Conference Room at City Hall, beginning at 7 p.m.

Following the presentation, the Planning Board and City Council will continue to review the CIP over the next several weeks. The City Council is expected to vote on the proposed CIP in November or December.

The CIP is a tool which outlines a schedule for the next six years for capital projects and purchases over $25,000 which maintain and improve the community infrastructure.

The CIP is updated annually and involves input sessions with the Planning Board and City Council, including public hearings. The Planning Board will forward its recommendations to the City Council, after which the City Council will discuss and ultimately approve the CIP later this year.
