A utility contractor working in conjunction with the 104 Washington Street “Orpheum” project will excavate on Saint Thomas Street, near Chestnut Street, on Friday, Oct. 11, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting. This work will require a full closure of Saint Thomas Street, near the front of the District Court.

Local residents and tenants of the McConnell Center will be able to access Saint Thomas Street in the opposite direction from Atkinson Street; the road will be open to two-way local traffic. The district court will not be in session on Friday. A police officer will be stationed at the work site, and detour signs will be in place to direct motorists around the block.
