2026: We will be accepting 50 children in this year’s program at Horne Street Park. Registration will begin April 6th @ 9am and will be available online or in person.

This program is for Dover residents ages 6-12 (as of 6/1/26). This 7-week program runs from June 22nd (TENTATIVE) - August 7th (TENTATIVE); Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Playgrounds counselors provide scheduled activities at the park, and participants are able to go swimming, play games, sports, and arts & crafts. Weekly trips to NH State Parks will be on Fridays. There will be no camp Friday, July 3rd.
Playgrounds is a weather-dependent program. Morning and/or afternoon playground programs will not be held in inclement weather. While we do our best to hold the program, there are times that Mother Nature does not allow that to happen. If you provide an email address on your registration form, you will be notified regarding all day cancellations via email. Otherwise, call us at 516-6401.
Fee: $400 per child (for the entire 7-weeks!) if payment is made before May 31st. After June 1st, the cost is $450 (if spots are available).
