Feb. 17, 2023 UPDATE: The city is no longer accepting curbside requests due to the backlog of work orders already submitted.
Property owners and residents cleaning up their property are encouraged to bring storm debris to the Recycling Center on Mast Road; there is no charge to do so. The Recycling Center is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Trees and debris that fall on the city’s rights of way remain the property of the property owner.

ORIGINAL POST: The City of Dover is contracting with an arborist to help clear public rights-of-way from low-hanging and downed branches and limbs from last week’s storm. The contractor will also collect and process limbs and branches from Dover properties placed curbside as time allows. Work is anticipated to begin Wednesday, Feb. 8.
Submit curbside collection requests through Community Services’ Service Request Portal at service.dover.nh.gov/RequestPortal, which can also be accessed through the city’s home page, www.dover.nh.gov, by selecting the “Contact Us” button on the upper right-hand corner. Submissions create a trackable digital work order.
Curbside collection will be focused on City of Dover-owned public streets. Community Services will consider curbside collection of woody debris on private roads contingent on obtaining an indemnity release from the homeowner’s association that governs the private road. For more information on private road curbside pickup, contact Community Services at 603-516-6450.
The curbside collection is a one-time event to help clear the destruction of last week’s storm.
