Jenny Thompson Pool 'Grand Splash' event Wednesday

Celebrate the first season of Dover's renovated Jenny Thompson Pool at the Grand Splash event on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the Dover Recreation Department.
Activities will include a dunk tank, swimming relay races, balloon toss, water volleyball and basketball, lifeguard challenges, a kids zone with giant bubbles, temporary tattoos and sidewalk chalk, among others.
There will also be food and treats available for purchase from Kona Ice of the Seacoast and the hotdog truck. Cash or check only.
Admission for the event is cash or check only:
- Adults: $5 resident/$10 non-resident
- Youth ages 3-17: $3 resident/$5 non-resident
- Seniors ages 62+: $3 resident/$5 non-resident
- Ages 2 and under are free
