In 2014, the City of Dover received grant funding from the State of New Hampshire's Conservation and Heritage License Plate Program to digitize and preserve hundreds of pages of historical town books and records. The three volumes of original documents were recovered in 2008 and span the years 1657 to 1807.
The $9,800 grant allowed the City of Dover to scan the documents into a digital formats and microfilm. The scanned documents, in portable document format (PDF), can be viewed below. Please note these are very large files and may take some time to display or download.
Although these documents are part of the original records kept by Dover, they are available here for review purposes only.
